With the wizard, creating backup sets is almost as easy as surfing the web. The eBackups software client will help you create your first backup set and introduce you to the software. It allows you to create an unlimited number of backup sets. For example, a backup set containing all your data files can be configured to run at the end of each week and another backup set containing your My Documents folder can be configured to run multiple times per day.

It's time to backup! In order to secure your data, all files are encrypted before they leave your computer. The data is stored in an encrypted format and you and only you have the ability to decrypt the data. eBackups uses only the highest level of encryption available today. All communications between the client and server are protected using DES, Triple-DES or Blowfish algorithms.

eBackups sends an e-mail upon completion. Whether it's a successful backup or a backup with a warning, a summary of the backup is sent in the body of the message and the complete log file can even be sent as an attachment.

Maybe you just need a single file from last Thursday or an entire volume of data from 2 months ago. With eBackups you have instant access to any version of your data files. The server software has the capability of recovering any version of a file from the initial backup to the last incremental backup and EVERY version in between.
